Through our own habitual ways of thinking, we often find ourselves unintentionally creating our own distress, chaos and mess.  When we encounter these psychological challenges, the way in which we interpret situations become skewed and distorted.  When this happens, the outcome, unfortunately, can be very overwhelming, distressing, unbearable, discouraging and people often times just find it easier to give up and give into the stressor or stressors at hand. This can be quite scary for some people

Cognitive Behavior Therapy helps you understand this and facilitate in breaking down this seemingly complicated process so it’s not so scary.  It will allow you to see that it’s not the actual ‘event’ that triggered the emotional meltdown, but rather the ‘thinking and beliefs’ we utilize to interpret these events. It is based on the premise that how we think (cognition), how we feel (emotion) and how we act (behavior) are all connected. To put simply, our thoughts and our feelings dictate and determine our behavior.

I will work closely with you to help unveil the ‘scary’ component behind your faulty thinking and behavioral patterns, and how they continue to negatively impact your life.

Remember – What you think, affects how your feel – and do. Change your Thinking & Behaviors – Change your Outcome…
